» Offer collar up to the front of the neck; centre the collar with chin secured in the shaped recess

» Secure at the back with the hook and loop fastening

» Adjust as necessary to secure the cervical / neck region

» When fitted the chin should NOT fall inside the collar, but not be so tight that it restricts breathing
